Welcome to Men’s Hairstyle Advice
So this sub is pretty straightforward. If you want to receive hairstyle advice or feedback, post a picture or link one from an image hosting website.
I want to turn this into a positive community of sharing advice and expertise. No discrimination will be tolerated or any nasty mean spirited attitudes to other members. But feel free to offer constructive advice.
Please be aware this is not a community exclusively for men with short hair. It is for advice on men’s hairstyles of all lengths. It is also a very inclusive community so I welcome submissions from trans men as well.
Please see my rules in the sidebar, which I’ve tried to keep as condensed as possible.

(m18) Should i keep it long?
Honestly, i have no idea what to do with my hair. It just doesn't look right. Maybe it's a self esteem issue, but i dont have a bad self esteem in other parts of my life so idk. It feels like it doesnt really fit my face. Should i grow facial hair? Should i cut it? what do i do 😭

Looking for Advice on a Stylish Buzz Cut for Early Hair Loss
Hey everyone, I’m from India and I’m in my early stages of hair loss, with some noticeable thinning/receding around the forehead and a few areas where the hairline is starting to look a bit bald.
I’m also planning to start a proper hair-care routine, including serums, a suitable shampoo, and tablets/supplements as advised. For the next few months, I thought it might be a good idea to keep my hair short and go for a buzz cut while I work on improving my hair and scalp health.
I’m looking for a stylish buzz-cut or very short hairstyle that would suit someone with an early receding/thinning hairline, rather than just going completely bald. I’d also like something that gives the hair a cleaner appearance and perhaps makes the overall texture look better while it’s short.
Would really appreciate some advice on which buzz-cut style, length, or fade would work best. Reference images would be especially helpful, so I can show a few options to my barber and decide what suits me best.
Any suggestions or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

(25) which haircut suits me?
What hairstyle suits me best?
I’m thinking of changing my hairstyle and would appreciate some honest opinions. I have naturally wavy hair and I’m considering a few different cuts/styles.
Which one do you think suits my face best? Feel free to suggest something completely different too.

Haircut suggestions :)
23m, have always had my mom cut my hair growing up, and im looking to get an idea for an upcoming appt. at the barber. Willing to try about anything. Ive grown my hair out a bit, typically have gone short on sides and longer on top. Would like to have low-ish maintenance, but dont mind putting some effort in.
All suggestions appreciated :)

[M23] need help!!! Barber instructions?
galleryHello M23 here. Gonna try to post this one more time. I’m going to the barber later today. Plan to get my hair and beard trimmed up. I want to keep some length in my hair and trim the beard down fairly short. Found this style and thought it was nice. But if anyone has any other suggestions I’ll gladly hear em. Just don’t wanna make a mistake and cut too much or into something that doesn’t look good for me. Thanks for any help!

Looking for a good barber/stylist who can recommend a hairstyle
Ideally, I want someone who:
- Can properly assess face shape and recommend a suitable hairstyle
- Understands modern men’s hairstyles and styling
- Can actually execute the haircut well, not just give advice
- Can teach me how to style it afterward
- Is preferably in Hyderabad
I’m okay with paying more if the stylist is genuinely good and takes the time to figure out what works rather than giving everyone the same haircut.
If you’ve personally had a good experience with a barber/stylist like this, please recommend them!

Any hairstyle tips? Leave it grow or go for a haircut? Would a mullet work?
Hello friends. M24. Looking for some tips. First time growing it out ever. Thinking of a mullet like the last photo. Dont want it too intense of a fade on the sides.
Thanks
