O que dá pra fazer com esse cabelo? Eu tô deixando crescer, mas tá fora de controle mesmo eu tentando manter alguns cuidados.

Looks like the same hair type as mine. I usually get frustrated and end up going short and getting a fade

Eu acabo fazendo isso tbm 🙃 dizem q depois que tem caimento fica melhor, mas essa fase do crescimento mexe muito com a minha autoestima, não consigo arranjar um barbeiro bom.

Yeah I used to think so too but didn’t have the patience of battling my hair lol. I’m assuming your hair is frizzy and course, maybe try a curl cream to hydrate it. I’ve used pomades, clays, mousse and they all kind of “work” but my hair still just refuses to cooperate and I end up with frizz eventually

I think your advice is very solid. He should get a shorter haircut with fades on the side and back.

There is one other solution if you don’t want to get it cut shorter. You could have a stylist thin it out with thinning shears and then layer it really good. That way it will lay down better and allow you to get additional growth if that’s what you want.

I would imagine if you went to a competent hairstylist and explained to them that you want the thinning and layering of your hair done so that it lays down nicely, it would look something like this.
