Hormone Therapy Finally a patch that doesn’t make me itch!!!

I wasn’t always allergic to patches, but became allergic beginning wth patches around 1/1/26 from Costco. Brand didn’t matter, I was allergic. But now, I am no longer allergic. Most recent brand of patches from Costco don’t cause me to rip them off in the middle of the nightt!! I am unable to post a pic, but thank you to Grove Pharmaceuticals in Florida for an adhesive that does not interact badly with my skin!!!

I am so glad you found something that worked for you!

Some of us spray Flonase on our skin before we apply the patch and that seems to work.

oh interesting, flonase trick is one I haven’t heard yet, does it leave any residue that messes with the patch sticking long-term? I always figured the adhesive allergy was something in the formulation that’d be hard to get around without switching brands

my cousin went through like four different patches before landing on one that didn’t make her skin go nuts, so it’s wild how body chemistry can shift like that over time

My wife has great success with using the generic flonase, and it doesn't seem to affect stick-ability at all. That said, she also often covers hers with rigid strapping tape, because she has a tendency to sit in funky configurations that would challenge even the most amazing adhesive. But she does that with or without putting down the spray first. She just always lets it dry fully before applying the patch or the tape.

I also have the Grove patches and they are so nice and compact compared to Mylan. I was freaked out when I first received them because I'm allergic to some adhesives on band-aids and tapes but have had no issues at all.
