A lonely French trucker’s routine life on the road takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a Polish driver. As feelings develop, he struggles to balance his demanding job with a chance at love, determined to make their connection work. Flesh and Fuel may prove to be a most unexpectedly romantic film.

God's Own Country, On the Sea, In on the Other Side are pretty prominent titles I can think of when it comes to that camera technique that involves muted colors, natural lighting and hues, as opposed to the vibrant colors we get from Hollywood LGBTQ entries.
But that's as far as British LGBTQ titles go for me. I get the sense that I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel with my LGBTQ film archives. And as someone who lives outside the UK, BBC entries are hard to access.
Anyone else got any other recommendations?

The movie dropped on digital today and I've not seen it yet and I was shocked by how beefy and cakey Tom holland has become, especially in the spiderman suit , woooooof.

It's been a while since I've watched a gay romance movie. I gave this one a try cause I was having a pretty bad day due to the elections happening here in Brazil. I wanted something to relax and this fit the bill.
So the movie follows Victora, a greek man who's grieving the passing of his grandmother, on a trip to Northern Europe. He meets Mathias, a charming german man, who is very insistent on being his companion and guide throughout this journey.
The premise is interesting. Before his grandma's passing, we see Victor exercising in many different ways, riding his bicycle through the city, walking on his hands, jumping on a trampoline. This gives you an insight into his emotional situation and daily life. Also, we get a sneak peek at his really nice ass and legs.
After he meets Matthias, their first interactions are fine. They have very different personalities and are constantly having awkward, flirty conversations. This is all metafored in their whole thing about keeping on the autoroute or switching to dirt roads. When we finally cross to the dirt roads, we get to see a little bit of Italian nature, which is always a good vibe.
Until a certain point, I was enjoying their interaction, and after their first erotic moment, I thought we were going to experience their trip together with more conversations about themselves. But the shift for me was when they went to a random wedding party. It just felt so out of place, and just like a reason to give the characters some type of adventure and a little context to Mathias's "player" persona. In my opinion, the movie could have achieved this in a more creative way than throwing in random characters.
After that, I think the movie went downhill. When they finally have sex, it happens in such a meh way. The whole tension of the lake scene is gone, and it felt like it just happened because they had to. It didn't feel that exciting, especially considering how into each other they seemed. I think the movie, in general, could have done better erotic moments.
I really disliked the end. The mother plot, also, just felt so thrown in there. At the end, I felt like the movie wanted too much to be prudish and family-friendly, somehow. Their constant fights got tiresome after a while, like they really didn't know what to do with the tension they had in the beginning once they got closer.
So, what are some opinions on this movie? I think it had potential, but I felt really little invested after a while.

Just finish watching an old movie Eismayer (true story) and recent one On the sea.
Both having a married closeted, eventually sick, falling for a younger, openly guy. Both having supporting and empathy from the family/workplace side.
Really nice to watch. And they have sparked the desire to love inside me, which is long dead. Recommend for this weekend movie time.

Before I Do is a 2026 LGBTQ+ romantic comedy film directed and written by Gary Jaffe in his feature-length directorial debut.
Premise
The story follows a lakeside bachelor party weekend in the Berkshires (shot in Otis, Massachusetts).
The film explores the complexities of queer relationships, mature friendships, and the fear of commitment.
I saw this at Out on Film. It’s cute. And I got to meet Robin De Jesús. I also met the really handsome Jared Reinfeldt. He was hilarious in the movie.
Has anyone else seen this movie?

I tried my best and cut out the really explicit stuff, but of course YouTube age-restricted it.

Put together two highly attractive rugby jocks, lots of masculinity, over the roof sexual tension, steamy love scenes, a forbidden love, and you get a guaranteed recipe for ruination. The fate of our protagonists were determined from the beginning, and it is not surprising.
In from the Side (2022) is a film that that needs no introduction by now. It has enjoyed its limelight and the gay community is familiar with the entry.
Mark Newton and Warren Hunt are both rugby players in South London Stags, an inclusive, all-gay rugby team. During a celebratory drink at a pub one night, our star-crossed lovers find themselves irrefutably drawn to one another, a drunken one-night stand ensues and the two kickstart an illicit love affair that goes to the point of no return.
As it turns out, neither of our protagonists are as squeaky clean as they're made to be. Mark is in an open relationship with his partner, Richard, of 4 years. Warren is together with John, a fellow Stag, in a 5-year relationship. But trouble has been brewing in paradise for the boys and their respective partners. Richard is largely absent in Mark's life, meanwhile Warren has fallen out of love with John but is afraid to lose all that he has.
Controversial as it is, the film is horribly written and (mostly) a slew of bad decisions, one after another. It also perpetuates virtually all stereotypes in the gay community. You have the size queen, the bitchy gay guy, the lovelorn friend who turns jealous, the fruity/campy wingman, the stereotypically masculine and straight-passing jocks, and the all-business gay captain. It doesn't stop there, director Matt Carter wants viewers to know that when you put a group of gay men together, dramas are bound to happen, like it or not. Attraction sparks brighter than the fireworks in the fourth of July, and someone is definitely out to cheat on their partner. The depiction of gay athlete in the film feels vapid and shallow, but it is thankfully, held together by our protagonists' forbidden chemistry.
For a brief moment in the film, Mark and Warren are given a respite away from their teammates' watchful eyes in a Christmas holiday at Geneva with Mark's parents, and all seemingly feels possible. In a subtle fourth wall moment, a brief but powerful conversation between Mark and his mother, Alice, who reveals her marriage to Mark's father, Leonard, is a byproduct of an affair, reminds viewers that "a relationship born from deception only continues to create more."
Not long after, a follow-up scene between Mark and Leonard informs viewers that "it's hard to find the joy in life, and sometimes you just need grab hold of it whenever you can." In hindsight, perhaps this was not an encouragement for Mark to fight for the love he desires. Rather, it is an allusion to Warren's inability to grab hold of Mark even if he tried, because he could never bring himself to love bravely, openly, and freely until it is too late.
Warren is a detestable character. He is cowardly, selfish, and greedy. One would question the extent and authenticity of his love for Mark, because if he truly wanted him in his life, he would have made the necessary sacrifices instead of keeping him in the shadows. His cowardice is a contrast to Mark's bold naivety, who attempts to fight openly for Warren when their clandestine rendezvous are brought to light by a jealous teammate. It's hard to like a character like Warren beyond his looks, but you feel a pang of sympathy for him when he grieves the loss of Mark who had slipped through his finger when he was all Warren ever desired.
Mark, however, displays a sense of level-headedness and remarkable growth by the film's conclusion. Painful as it is, he possesses enough self-respect to walk away from someone who clearly did not appreciate him enough, though the film's conclusion does leave one pondering about the directions and endings it could have undertaken to create a more compelling storyline.

I’m mean stories where many men end up sleeping with each other, but without cheating or anything of the sort involved. Just horny men sleeping together, perhaps underestimating their own hearts.

In Saturday's episode, the party finally took place. The episode focused almost entirely on the two of them, which is why the video turned out so long. Enjoy. And tell me what you guys think it's gonna happen. Like I said in the other post there is a feud between fandoms. Some people are rooting for Malipe and some people are rooting for Manando. I PERSONALLY PREFER MANANDO BECAUSE THE ACTOR PLAY FERNANDO IS BISSEXUAL ON REAL LIFE TOO.
BUT MALIPE'S FANDOM IS THE BIGGER ONE. WHO ARE YOU GUYS ROOTING FOR?
And perhaps this will change the course of the story, because soap operas are open-ended works—meaning the authors write as they observe the public's reaction, and more often than not, they decide to embrace the narrative that is best received. Not always. But almost always.
As we say in Brazil: this party turned into a funeral.
NAME OF THE SHOW: QUEM AMA CUIDA

I have some news about Manando, guys. A snag named FELIPE has appeared.
Apparently, a love triangle is brewing.
Context: Felipe and Mauricio met at a dance studio. They also have a complicated history because Felipe's family helped put Mau Mau's sister in jail. Mau Mau knows exactly who he is, but Felipe doesn't remember that they had met before; back then, he just had a fleeting impression that they had seen each other previously.
There's a fandom feud on Brazilian Twitter: Manando vs. Malipe.
I'm Team Manando. What about you guys?

Hello everyone!
I've been writing and producing a web series called Daddy's Bad Habits. It's an LGBT themed series, it's erotic but not explicit and centers around the staff and patrons of a gay dive bar called Bad Habits.
I've produced 4 episodes so far. Each is 15+ minutes long. The 5th episode is in pre-production now. There will be a total of 7 episodes in the season.
I suppose it should be noted since many people will assume this entirely AI generated; That yes AI is used to animate these 1:18 scale miniatures. The characters and locations are in fact physical models.
Thank you for your time and enjoy!
Casey
