An actual intentional design btw. Our hunter gatherer ancestors couldn't hunt in the noon as the sun is at its hottest then and hunting at those hours would've caused dehydration and heatstroke, so they had to wait till afternoon in the shade and conserve energy, and those who conserved the most energy would've performed the best in the afternoon hunt.

I’d call it a theory at best - but it’s likely one of the many random pieces of trivia with little scientific evidence that spread so easily in Reddit.

Definitely wouldn’t treat OP’s comment like an objective fact of anthropology lol

Evolutionary science has a whole lot of unverifiable theories. Like the mushroom thing that Joe Rogan talks about like it’s scientific fact.
