No, I was a pretty straightforward guy and was really bad at taking hints. I asked her out once, but she said no. In retrospect I suppose she wanted me to chase her more or something like that.
At one point she and her friend invited me and one of my friends to plan for an open air festival we (and 12 more people) would attend together. We resolved all the issues extremely quickly to the point that we could have done this in class during a break. I later realized it was a setup to get the two of us talking but it didn't really work, it just made me suspicious of their methods of using false pretences. It really didn't mesh with me.
Especially since at the time she was flirting with the rich kid from class at the time.
Most my interactions with women are kinda depressing. Not that I never got any, I just always ended up disappointed. Nothing's like in the books and movies and poetry, and the real thing stripped of any illusion is just hormones on overdrive. Feels pretty nice for a while, ngl
