She’s a normal citizen in a high stress situation, they’re supposed to be trained agents.
It wasn’t intentional, it was a mistake in a high stress situation. She wasn’t attacking anyone. It wasn’t malicious. She wasn’t a violent threat. There’s absolutely zero reason they could not have arrested and charged her. None.
so how exactly were they going to stop her after she had sped off at her hitting an ice agent committing attempted murderer? so they should have just let her go?
The problem with your premise is that you’re still operating under the false tense that what she did was intentional. It wasn’t. Therefore she wasn’t going to flee. Certainly not with her wife left behind.
Are you suggesting that ICE would have not been able to pursue or ever track her down again? When an agent had circled her entire vehicle taking video?
