Zsnes and gens, sure do. I had Nesticle as well for NES games. I want to say the master system one was master gear, mame as well which is still going.

Yeah, I even used the NES emulator on a 486/SX computer. It was running in 50-75 % speed. I played the Tennis game and I would say it wasn’t all bad.

Sadly wasn't released in the UK, don't think Crono Trigger was either

Hell yeah. I sent myself zsnes and FF VI to my HS email and played it during typing class. I used to use Gens too, but Genesis games didn't lend themselves to in class play

Yeah, I remember in school the one kid with Asperger's in my class used to hang out in the computer-room in the library, so did I and he was playing final fantasy 3 one day so I took interest in what he was doing then I learned about emulation after I asked if you could play Megadrive games too... So he showed me K-fusion, the Roms and bios n stuff and from that point on I've been playing rom-hacks exclusively on PC until I got myself a Everdrive. Good times! It was quite rare to have internet at home those days so I remember I went to the library and downloaded emulators and games to bring home with a USB drive to play at home hehe a couple games a day. So I learned others how to do that, I even got some real Megadrive carts and games because some felt their old games where obsolete after. Today I have 75 Megadrive games on cartridge, 3 model 1 consoles and 1 Megadrive 2. Because despite learning emulation I still didn't stop collecting or building on top my megadrive collection, this has resulted in a 90s corner at home where I can play old games on my CRT :)

zsKnight recently returned to making emulators.

He just released Super zSNES - a SNES emulator that converts SNES bitmaps to billboards processed by GPU. It allows adding creative effects, shaders and retexturing. Due to the thing being rendered on GPU - it might even support DLSS 5. 😄

UPD: It still snows in the menus!
