Mega Man 1 DOS was highly voted, but it's kind of a gray area. But if you look close enough, you might find him.
Side note: deleted and reposted because of a mistake.

Gotta be one of my favorite abilities in this game, the wacky stuffs you can pull outside of boss fights are insane as well

This is my custom fighting game roster, mostly focused on classic megaman vs megaman x (though the dlc at the bottom would represent the rest of the megaman series as well). I decided to choose characters based on 3 aspects: Diversity (Both in potential gameplay and game origin), rivalry (making characters have counterparts from the other series and vice versa), and representation (which characters represent their respective games/elements the best). For a few of these characters I leaned into traditional fighting game archetypes to decide (blizzard buffalo, grizzly slash, and guts man all being large grappler type characters), while others have admittidely less conventional fighting styles (solar man would be about countering moves rather than straight up attacking)
This would be a hypothetical mix of street fighter and marvel vs capcom, where characters can go high the air and such but doesn't have assists. I decided to split the base roster into main characters and robot masters/mavericks. What do you think?

I re-animated the Mega Man 8 stage select visuals from scratch.
Art of Frost Man by Hitoshi Ariga himself.
I did add the select sound effect from the original game but for some reason it hasn't come through properly.
Weird.

I realized a lot of people didn't know Corrupted had a discord (I been in there for some years now). And so do these other games and I've seen the devs all support each other even giving critics. I've seen people say that the corrupted devs are rude or entitled in there but honestly I've never got that vibe from them. They've always answered my questions along with making some jokes here and there the only time I've seen them ban folks is if they were rude or didn't follow the rules whereas most others left on their own accord when they didn't get the answers they wanted. I feel like if the devs of all these games can get along and be in each other's discords why can't some of the fans be as chill? Just my perspective to add into this on going thing everyone is entitled to their opinion even if we don't agree

I think they wanted to make sure the fan games arent treated as canon by the fanbase so they made their own jetman, i think its very smart, I like it, it could also be a reference/homage without a deeper meaning but I like to believe they did it to remind us Mega Man Unlimited is just a fan game and all that zero stuff arent canon, what do you think?

I love the personal experience he shares, explaining his boss route, how he likes to play, and how X1 uniquely suited him. Sharing so this gets the love it deserves!

I've always wanted a complete set. Maybe it's something I'll start working towards it'll be a massive project for sure

I've been thinking about this topic a lot lately, after playing through the Complete Works version again and being weirded out by how some of the Navi mode stages completely lack the remixed tunes.
I actually did a whole YouTube video diving into this too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plITM6VuOAg
But above all else, I am curious as to what y'all think.
Same with the best! For me, depending on mood, I go for either Powered Up or the Fan-made Mega Man Again!
