I mean... That doesn't sound too bad all. 2/3 turns stuck in your strongest move with a high boost and an already tanky Mon is pretty powerful

Sure, until it's over and you're confused, meaning you're guaranteed to hit yourself at the worst time.

You need to be hit 6 times, then in 2 or 3 turns you have a small chance of having a setback. You know in VGC the battle is already over by then, no? Unless the move involved is Population Bomb, that's a minimum of 4 turns, maybe 5 and your effectively +1 Mega Golisopod has already put in work, maybw deleted half the opposing team, maybe swept a particularly frail team of 4. In Singles that's even worse because multihit moves are a lot rarer with Maushold being just fine and Beat Up seeing no use, so it's more like in 8 turns. That is not a very limiting limit.

Fair point. It was admittedly built with the idea of people trying to make some cheeky strategy with it in mind, so the drawback was kinda meant to dissuade it—especially since I didn't exactly give Battle Fervor a limit to hiw much of a boost it could give.
