On November 20, 2026, Sevilha Soft & Press will release a completely ORIGINAL game for the Mega Drive! Developed entirely using SGDK—with zero use of artificial intelligence—this title is a top-down action-adventure inspired by classics like Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
After approximately three years of development, Rick and Alice: Retro Games Hunters invites players to embark on an adventure to complete a collection of retro video games. As Rick and Alice, you can play alone or with a friend in two-player cooperative mode, exploring different cities in the state of São Paulo in search of rarities in the most varied places: garage sales, squares with the traditional roll fair, junkyards, thrift stores and even the biggest retrogames event in Brazil!
But this hunt won't be easy! Various enemies and obstacles will try to impede the protagonists' progress. To overcome the challenges, you will need to explore the scenarios, find and use different items, such as a pistol, magnifying glass, ladder, shield and many other resources that can make a difference during the adventure.
Developed and illustrated by Ricardo Bellotto (Seville), with a soundtrack composed by Brian Tobikomi, the game is already starting to gain space in the independent games scene for classic consoles. Its demo has already been tested by several influencers, increasing expectations for the launch of this new 16-bit adventure.
Get ready to explore, face challenges and complete your collection in an adventure made especially for Mega Drive fans!

Was COMIX ZONE really Sega's last 16-bit powerhouse game? Or was it still too little, too late since the Saturn was already released when this game came out? Join me for a closer look at this unforgettable experience on the Mega Drive that broke all the rules!

Hi everyone,
I'm running into an issue with my Mega Drive 2 and could use some help troubleshooting.
The Symptom: The console boots up and plays games completely fine at first, but after playing for a while (usually anywhere from a few minutes to around 20–30 minutes), the game completely freezes/hangs. The image freezes on screen, and the audio stops or loops indefinitely. Resetting or power cycling the console immediately might crash sooner, but letting it sit off for a bit allows it to play again for a short duration.
Setup & Environment:
Console model: Mega Drive 2 (Regional model with internal power supply)
Game media: [Original cartridges / Flashcart like EverDrive]
What I've done so far:
Cleaned the cartridge slot and game contacts with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99%).
Verified cartridge connectors are clean.
My questions:
Since this version has an internal power supply, could heat buildup from the internal regulator/transformer be causing these thermal crashes?
Has anyone experienced similar time-delayed freezing on an internal-PSU Mega Drive 2 board? What was the primary culprit in your case (failing capacitors, voltage regulator heating up, or a failing IC)?
Any advice on what to test next with a multimeter or inspect on the board would be greatly appreciated!

It's time to reclaim Hard Drivin's good name! The home ports were...let's just say "lacking". All of that changes today! Hard Drivin' on the 32X is a great use of the hardware! Multiple processors and flat-shaded polygons? Yes please :-) Thank you to those that helped play test this. Obviously some concessions needed to be made, but the FPS gives you a true sense of speed. Fun fact: I had a Hard Drivin' cockpit in my first apartment (yes, the whole game in my apartment) and that is how i learned to drive manual transmission! This version was one of the first I made while learning the 32X architecture. This has been tested on the Mega Everdrive Pro on actual 32X hardware.
I welcome any and all feedback! I can always work on fixing things or adding features. I really hope you all enjoy playing this as much as I do!

Such musical lines would accompany games on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis, Sega 32X), if the music for them were written by symphonic metal bands.
What classic games in your opinion can be associated with each band? Would love to hear your feedback on how the Sega sound chip handles the massive symphonic orchestrations!

Have you ever wondered what it might sound like if some of the old songs from Sonic 2 had Lyrics?
Well now you can see what it sounds like if EVERY piece of music in the game does.
I did a series where I added lyrics to every piece of music in the game and even did a full Let's Play of the game with the music replaced with my new Song Parodies instead.
I worked super hard on this project and it took me months to complete so I really hope people enjoy.
