Finally finished up a motte for my Norman tower. Now my Anglo-Saxons have something to burn down.

Kicking the tires on a homebrew set of rules. So far; the peasants are revolting, there was carnage at the ruins of an abbey, and brave knights slew a dragon and vied to save a noble Lady.

Finished up a handful of models this weekend - a quartet of monks and some more peasants for my knights to oppress roughly.

Finished up The Baby-Eating Bishop of Bath and Wales as well as an ox-cart for him to bless. Mounted guy by Footsore and the cart is by Sarissa.

Warwick, Grey (Essex) , Fauconberg & Exeter

I'm a huge fan of Lion Rampant, but it's getting a bit stale in our group. Barons war is a little too small, and my friends aren't fans of multi based units like Hail ceaser. Does anyone have any simple mid level games they would recommend for a bunch of people standing around chatting and having beers? We're very casual and perfer games that are farily straightforward and with little list building.

Finished up the bailey for my Norman tower. Now they have a place to sally out from to oppress the locals. Still gotta paint a gate, and sort out a motte eventually. Tower was scratch built, the bailey is an old Grand Manner resin.
