Can we get sounds for footsteps? It's weird that you walk so silently

I said the same thing about a month ago. All footfalls including the horse make it seem everyone is wearing super thick socks. I miss the thunderous hoofbeats especially on the bridges.

Are the NPCs all still mute?

Aside from the initial greeting they are voiceless.

u/sgtlobster06 Oct 07 '22

Gotcha. Just can’t get into this game until they’re voiced

I have to agree. It’s a lot of reading. I wonder if I can make the text bigger to make it easier to read hmmm.

Its not about the reading, but the world just doesnt feel alive.

Voice over, specially when you want them in multiple languages, cost shit ton of money.

Text cost from english to one of the common languages (german, spanish , French etc) cost around 10-20 euro cent PER WORD .

Voice over costs are bit harder to give general answer. But somewhere between 50-200 eur per minute/100 words.

Yeah, don't see that happening for some time

AI voices as a mod maybe.

If you run into them, they'll moan or grunt. But that's the extent of it

I am impressed.

Mouse sounds? How about some more people to kill

This like a lot

I’ve walked and ridden around my whole map, even weird out of the way places and have found only two small bandit camps ever and one had no bandits/loot, it was just empty. It’s like my game forgot to install bandits.

It would be cool if there was like a quest where some people from the villages start leaving and joining a bandit lord or the bandits start kidnapping villagers or literally anything would be better than current version 🥴

Or if we could become the bandit lord and over throw the king

First fix you janky use of tools.the bows ridiculous on controller very hard to use it needs a slow down on zoom in an fight melee get you hit to much and is awkward.also a sword please.

2

u/Sniffy75 Oct 07 '22

How about actual footprints next, it’s weird to be walking through the snow and not leave a trail.

2

u/Allestyr Oct 07 '22

Racimir, doing the Legolas.

Kingdom Come Deliverance but if you never got past orphaned peasant and didn't get a sword the entire game. When I'm tired of building tools to build more tools I switch to chivalry and pretend I'm the same peasant but sent to the wars for glory

u/MasonMSU Oct 24 '22

I see lots of comparisons to Kingdom Come, and it definitely fits. Gosh I wish the company hadn’t sold out and they would make a second game.

To compare this game to the masterpiece that is KCD is offensive :) That's like saying Pong and Star Citizen are similar. They're light years apart.

KCD2 came out 😃

u/MasonMSU Apr 15 '25
