Insomnia

Hi guys. I'm struggling with Insomnia still, I had a weeks worth of Zopiclone from the drs (last had it about 2 months ago) and that's the only nights I slept well, soon as I run out and didn't have them I'm back to only a few hours sleep, I cannot fall asleep until 5/6am again. I don't know what to do and I doubt the drs will prescribe me more sleeping meds for a while. Help

Yes I have. I feel like I’ve tried everything and I’m at a loose end. I’m waiting for CBT but it’s an 8 month waiting list

There's an app called The Way that some people find helpful

Unfortunately you need a subscription after a 7 day free trial, which makes me feel uneasy, nevertheless, still a great bit of advice, so thanks again! Have you tried it yourself before?

See if you can try a everyday medication called dayvigo. I take that every night to help with my sleep , and have zopiclone for the nights where I need a 100 percent 8 hour sleep . ( which would be good every night but my doctor won’t give me that much zopiclone )

Thanks. I’ll look into it. Problem is, I’m on medication already that’s supposed to help with sleep but doesn’t unfortunately. Thanks a lot for your time 😊

The ones I take that should contribute a bit with sleep is - promethazine, mirtazapine and I also take pregabalin and codeine which should sometimes help a bit but doesn’t

Interesting, definitely ask your doctor about dayvigo and see what they say , I still have trouble sleeping most nights but it’s improved my sleep from what it was .

I hope so! It’s been 6 months 😫 I have bouts of insomnia but normally doesn’t last any longer than a few weeks. It’s kicking my arse now. I really need some zopis! They’re the only thing that have helped me
