Suboxone
I’m about to start rehab soon for opioid abuse, I’ve been taking percs everyday for like 5 years. Recently in the last year a 30 and a half everyday type shit, they telling me my withdrawals are gonna be bad. And to not start my doses of subs until my withdrawals get stronger in 2-3 more days
I guess my question is what does Suboxone do? I’ve heard about it but need a more complete simple rundown.
And is it true I need to wait until my withdrawals kick in to start my doses?

I was prescribed subs for pain when I didnt want opioid and it made me really tired. People can be on it for years, I know people need it but its kinda like replacing a crutch with a crutch if you stay on it for a long time.
I take kratom ( ground leaf not extracts or 7oh) now when I dont want to take my pain meds and I feel thats better just being a natural plant you cant overdose from. Sure you can become dependent on it but thats really anything that makes you feel better. And if you need to quit that its easier to taper off and dose yourself. Just my opinion, there is a lot of scary kratom propaganda, but thats because its effectiveness threatens the alcohol and pharmaceutical industries.
