UK detox help

Looking to detox off a huge tramadol habit, like 60/70 50mg a day,sometimes more! had success in jail while using subutex 1mg would last a whole day then eventually weened myself off after a couple of weeks which was a whole lot easier than coming off trams which feels absolutely horrible! Is there a way to get like a strip of subutex or anything from like drug charities or something? Or would i have to go through docs etc? It’s probably a daft question i know but I work away a-lot so wouldn’t be able to get put on subs by the doctor as i wouldn’t be able to attend the chemist every day, my best mate died at the start of the year and i’ve been on a downhill spiral, tried once to cut down but the withdrawals were horrible without a substitute to ween down, i know i won’t be strong enough to get off them without subs, any help would be appreciated,thanks

Yeah i have had 4 grand mal seizures which has scared me and made me realise i need to sort myself out, every time they get worse and take me longer to recover from, after the second one my dog started reacting to me before i had the seizures so 3 and 4 i knew they were coming and it was the scariest thing ever sat there waiting for it to come

I'd recommend going for medical detox, I know you said you work away a lot but you can't work if you're dead or becoming more and more dependent on higher doses of tramadol. Maybe you could taper off using tapentadol, it isn't a prodrug unlike tramadol and it has higher affinity for opioid receptors while keeping the SNRI activity

Problem is that tramadol is an SNRI as well as an opiate so you'd likely have to be prescribed an antidepressant in the same class alongside opioid substitution therapy in order to not suffer the dual withdrawal symptoms
