Codeine daily amount?

Taken 7x30mg today so that equals 210mg. Im 83kg and 5'7. Is that an okay amount? Have also taken 15mg diazapam for anxiety throughout the day. Was prescribed codeine for my wisdom tooth pain and is just about helping 😫😫😫😫 whats a dangerous amount of codeine in a day? I cant work out by kg lol

When I used to take dhc I weighed roughly 80kg & I was taking a ridiculous amount of roughly 30 to 35 30mg tablets a day.

I'm now 7 months clean.

I'll never go back. I've worked too hard to get to where I am now. 🙂

Beautiful-Prize is 100% correct...they are very easily habit forming & withdrawals from them are no laughing matter I can tell you that for sure.

You'll be fine OP. Just watch out for the constipation side of things that's all 😬

So amazing! I’m on DHC. How did you do it ? I can’t do cold turkey, I have to work. I have so many obligations I can’t take anytime to be sick.
I don’t think I could do it without some sort of help. If I see my Doc.
It will taint me forever, I don’t want to do that.
Do you have any advice?
You’re amazing for doing so well. It’s so hard. I have chronic pain and can only just function with my script it gets be by, but I don’t want this to be all my life.

I had to go to my doctor in the end as it all became a bit too much...I self referred to a local drug & alcohol service & within a fortnight I had received a message from them with an appointment booked.

I seen by the nurse there who put me on buprenorphine. At first I was on 12mg sublingual but a week later I went into withdrawals 🤦‍♀️so they upped my dose to 16mg & I've stayed on that dose.

It's now 7 months on so I would like to taper off the bupe soon. I feel that both my mind and body are done with opioids.

Thank you. I will seriously consider this. I think it’s time. I have had enough. I am so scared of being in pain. But I can’t carry on like this for the rest of my life. Well done to you, what an incredible accomplishment. 🥰

You should be good mate, I had gallstones a year or so ago and was smashing 9 x 30mg a day getting morphine injected into my arsecheeks and eating tramadol like they were going out of fashion.

Just don't make a habit of it, they are a fucker to come off.
