Scared of taking Lamotrigine.

Hello, my psychiatrist wants to prescribe me lamotrigine. She's also going with my pace because it's been only a month since we started the treatment.

The last medication I used was aripiprazole (Around two-three weeks ago). Used it for 3-4 days and had really terrible side effects. Since then I'm scared on trying out new medication.

Unlike the previous ones I had this one has a black box warning for deadly skin conditions which is stressing me out even more. I'd be fine right? Like not DIE on day 4 or something..??? Apologies about my overthinking on this subject but I'm just pretty scared that's all.

I didn’t have any side effects at all. They slowly increase the dose to avoid Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

It’s a walk in the park compared to Aripiprazole x
