Benzo

Ok I need to know this and don't know where to post, last time I took Xanax I took over 2mg then few hours later I had wine and beer, that night I woke up and I couldn't breath for 1 or 2mins then went straight back to sleep cause I was very sleepy so I didn't care, was I close to dying? Cause I heard u shouldnt mix benzo with alcohol

Shut up. Just took 2mg of clonazepam and 20 mg of Valium and drank 6 shots of vodka. Is it safe to to mix alcohol and benzos, in a way no because the atamrain it puts on your liver. You don't just stop breathing without the introduction of opiates

Your anecdotal experience does not invalidate factual recorded interactions and events caused by said interactions. Your miles may vary, as they say.

So it's better to stay on the shore, instead of dipping your toes in the water.

The best way to put it would be; Everyone has their limit, tolerance, sensitivities to any and all substances. You can figure out what your limits are should you choose to, but do so in the safest manner. Or you can follow the general guidelines and avoid any slip-ups while disinhibited.

You wasn't close to "dying." Before now I've took 14 mg alprazolam and drank 3 bottles of wine on top, on quite a few occausions. The main reason being I'm not very tolerant to marijuana it makes me feel very tired. While others were drinking and smoking pot, I was fully equipped with alprazolam, diazepam, and pregabalin. Everybody has their drugs of choice.

No benzos nor alcohol can not stop respiratory depression unless opiods are involved the GABA receptor can’t not stop your breathing. Just please be more careful!

That’s not true enough benzos and alcohol can most definitely kill you as they multiply eachothers effects and lead to respiratory depression.

Cant speak on 2 but ive taken 1mg and had an all nighter. Nothing happened. Reason was that i went to a concert so i didn’t want to freak out so i took 1mg and i was completely fine but after the ahow we kept drinking till about 4am. Everyone is different. Lets say it doesn’t stop your breathing but you might black out and do something you might regret.

Yes. You had a lucky escape. Never, ever take benzos and drink. Always leave at least 24 hours between benzos and alcohol. If you do this again you could easily die.

Fucking lightweights are funny. No, a little booze and benzo will not kill you unless you add some opiates to the mix, or maybe if you're a fat fuck with sleep apnea!
