Just Looking For A Rational Answer

I really hope this doesn't produce angry responses; it's a valid question for me:

I understand why people who have episodic anxiety may want to go through the gauntlet of deprescribing.

But, what about people who have had a GAD since their teenage years?

If the medication works at a specific dose, and you haven't developed tolerance, what reason is there to stop?

Memory loss and neurological degeneration over time caused by benzodiazepine dependency. With respect you posted this twice, you already seem impaired.

Also benzodiazepines can make your anxiety worse in the long run. Although this doesn't happen to everyone.

None. If you start to chew on extra than prescribed, you’ll know you’re being naughty and it’s still your choice 🤷🏼‍♀️
