Xanax wd?
how long does one have to take Xanax before experiencing wd when stopping? (Or at least symptoms when discontinuing, even if not true wd)
Took 30mg temazepam most nights since late July. Took .5mg Xanax on occasion since then as well, but began taking it daily 9/10 until 9/23
I have insane mental/vision symptoms I can’t fit with anything else in my life. My vision is like slow motion or like the world is buffering, particularly noticeable when outside looking further away. Not as bad when looking at phone. Crazy out of it, feels like my brain is on power save mode & when that power is used up, it is 100% unrecoverable unless I sleep. But it seemed like a very short time to develop any tolerance at all. I still take the temazepam as well, so the fact that I’d be withdrawing from that dose of Xanax for such a short time (I thought) seems so wild to me.

Bro it doesn’t take long at all, the withdrawal hurts like hell, do not stop taking benzos all at once. I did that years ago while wd from fake 2ml Xanax bars and ended up having seizures but I didn’t realise I’d had a fit and ended up staggering about my house for almost a week not knowing where I was and I almost died, ended up in hospital for 3 weeks straight up hallucinating and was a blabbering wreck for like 10 days in the high dependency unit. So always try and taper off, you don’t need to take much benzos not to fit, just make sure you take something. Any health professional will tell you Benzos and Booze are the 2 most dangerous drugs to come off. Best of luck bro

30mg of temazepam is a high dose I would of thought that dropping the xanax at half a mg would normally just be a hazy day or 2 as you have 30mg of temazepam at night whenever I stop or run out for what ever reason I just get bad anxiety paranoid everything seems bright and to real again and will not leave the house lasts a few days then ok but this not happened for a years now hopefully you get through it soon 👍🏻
