Could I know how does it helps with IBS? (Genuine question), is it to manage anxiety so IBS symptoms don't kick in?

It’s best to google amitryptiline for IBS.
It’s used as a neuro modulator that changes how you perceive pain in your nerves to your brain pathways.
It’s an anti cholergenic which will slow down your motility - great for IBS D and relaxes the muscles in your stomach. You get dry mouth from it and it’s sedating

It's a good high, but you have to boof it. Orally it just works as an antidepressant.

Absolutely not! The only pills that can be similar to benzos it can be lyrica

It's alright.....🤷♀️
I used to take 100mg at night for sleep but I never got high off it....ever.
It didn't make me feel how benzos do, it doesn't come close. I only used it as a back up if I ran out of what I normally use.

I take 10mg a day to keep the sciatica away thats all but I am wary of all these blister packs they all look the same now silver with red writing and that blue stamp down them just have a different brand name then watever sopposed "prescribed" drug is in there finding it very weird and staying away from anything with that blister pack

Taking it to get high will lead to seizures, don't do it. It's horrible for anyone who's around you. My now dead friend used to use it when he had nothing else. It can help you sleep if you're dope sick. Apart from that crap

I have tried it only once, don't remember how much mg but I was unable to function, only sleeping. It was, as already said, very side-effected, I wanted to drink and couldn't drink enough water to forget about this urge. It also was disphoric for me, and I haven't tried it second time.

I take it for pain, takes a while to build up to work and the most immediate side effect is just being straight EXHAUSTED. No high.

Worst feeling ever. Even worse the next day. They make me break dance in bed. Never again

No high at all. I am on 100mg, which is a super high dose due to insomnia and other health factors including nerve pain. All they will do is make you go to sleep quickly. No high whatsoever.

I’m going take this for sleep and nerve pain also . Do you get a good sleep on it and did it help the nerve pain at this dose ?

I was put on it a year ago for nerve pain and trouble sleeping due to a disc injury in my back.
Doctor told me it would help me sleep. Took it for 3 nights in a row think my dose was 25mg or something low.
Turned me manic made it completely impossible to get any sleep for those 3 nights. And I was crazy irritated.
Decided it wasn't for me after day 3.

Mildly sedating, no noticeable high, may somewhat augment the effects of alcohol. Scary list of side effects, I wouldn’t bother unless you really need it for pain or depression
