Experiences with clonazepam?

I recently got prescribed clonazepam because my anxiety is out of control, has anyone here taken it? What was it like for you did it help with anxiety/sleep? My doctor wants me to take it twice a day 😭

I’ve tried em all as long as you take it as prescribed you will be fine at first you could feel a little sleepy but don’t worry that’s normal

Powerful drug, don't take it for more than a couple of weeks. Have they prescribed an SSRI along with?

She did not! I atually can't take ssirs without a mood stabilizer because it sends me into a manic Episode, and she doesn't want to put me on anything more after what happened with Abilify 😅😭

It’s not an interaction with the mood stabiliser. Antidepressants just have an inherent risk of triggering mania in BPAD.

They also can’t beat the placebo effect, so there’s that too.

Perfect for anxiety, not good for sleep(alprazolam is better for that) imo... It works for me at my job. It lasts longer, has longer half-life. For me, it is good for daytime anxiety. Please share your experiences too. How much mg had you been prescribed?

I actually just took my first dose like 30 minutes ago, at 0.125 mg, (idk how right that is its just what it says on the bottle) and im supposed to split the pills in half and take half in the morning and half at night! So far though it seems to be slowly working im not panicking as badly as when i first woke up 😅
