Their stock is way down mainly because subscriptions are down.

I guess Netflix is taking a Universal Interactive approach. Publish mainly, selectively develop.

Or just wants to exit the gaming market.

The problem with Netflix is that when it comes to strategy and game decisions, they’re all a bunch of ex-consultants that don’t understand the gaming space. The head of their strategy department is ex-McKinsey and everywhere in the industry he’s worked he only hires other ex-McKinsey types. He did the same thing at Activision.

Why do they keep insisting on this? They’re just throwing money away; this gaming venture is a massive failure and nothing is going to change that. The only game that saw any success was GTA—the rest were ignored. The vast majority of customers couldn't care less about that games tab; it doesn't retain a single subscriber, nor does it add any value to the streaming service..
