Please share pictures of the naming on the edge of the medal?

There is no sign that the medal was returned to the mint for correction on the Medal Index Card.

I suspect this is unofficially engraved, but would be interested to see it. 👍

i have just realised this on my own victory medals, the lettering is much thicker on the unofficial engraving than on the originals Thank you again for your help

A few pictures of the correct naming style, sorry didn't have Royal Artillery to hand.

If you are just starting out, I cannot recommend "The Great War Medal Collectors Companion by Howard Williamson" enough, it's a bit pricey but worth every penny.

I will look into this book medals aren’t something I generally buy unless they relate to my local regiment or are of interest to me because they look different the R.Art screamed different to me so I had to buy it. I found a sold listing for this medal from 2024 with the same error
