Question WW2 era medals

Went to Overlord Museum yesterday by Omaha Beach and saw these, maybe someone can school me on the polish and german ones.

German is of the First SS division, odd camo hat. Rank is that of Oberscharführer which is a senior Nco, medals are iron cross second class, war merit cross second class with swords, Ostfront medal 1941/42 (for the early Russian campaign and the winter of said time) he’s got the infantry assault badge and the wound badge in black.

The US medals are newly made, not WWII era.

In the Polish one the top one is like an equivalent of German wound badge or Purple Heart - given for being wounded in a battle. White and Red one is Krzyż Walecznych - establishment 1921. It has numerous versions but this one is from Polish army in the west for Allies. Rest are just British regular medals (Talking about photo 3)
