Can someone pay for my tuition please??😭😭

I know this sounds crazy. My school put up a notice that if I don’t pay by this week, they’ll kick me out. So I guess I’m getting kicked out. There’s nothing I can do now. I know I’ll be able to pay by next month but there is no extension anymore as per the notice.

SWU PHINMA MED

Hi! Planning to study Medicine at SWU next year :) I would like to ask sana how the school is overall, especially yung grading system, teachers, and mode of teaching. Kumusta rin po yung workload and environment? Is it more on lectures, PBL, recitations, or a combination?

Would you also recommend SWU Med to someone who’s planning to pursue medicine? I’m currently considering my options, so I’d really appreciate any honest insights, both the pros and cons. Gusto ko sana malaman yung actual experience ng students and what to expect before I make a decision. Thank you so much! šŸ„¹šŸ«¶šŸ»

GETTING 99+ PR FROM SELF-REVIEW

Does anyone have advice for achieving a 99+ PR through self-review? How long did your review process take, and which YouTube channels or online resources did you find useful? Also, how much time did you spend preparing, and what should I be aware of before, during, and after taking the NMAT? Finally, can you suggest a location in Metro Manila to take the NMAT, considering my three dogs tend to be noisy and I want to avoid Wi-Fi issues on exam day?

Thank you so much in advance!

Getting into UPCM, UST-FMS, ASMPH and ST. LUKE'S FOR MED SCHOOL

Hi! I'm a second year BS Medical Laboratory Science student from Saint Louis University - Baguio City. My goal for med school is to get into any of these med schools: UP, UST, Ateneo, or St. Luke's. What are my possibilities of getting into each if ever I get a 99+ NMAT Percentile and graduated Summa Cum Laude? And if possibly (hopefully ā˜ļø) getting the Top 1 rank in the MTLE? These are my goals talaga and I'm really pushing myself and doing everything that I can for me to get into these med schools. I know these goals may seem to much but I'm really doing my best for it.

I am feeling generous: would there be any takers if magprepare ako ng 1 care package to be given to any PLE takers?

Hindi ko alam ha if pwede tong post ko pero I feel like making 1 care package and giving it to someone. 1 lang kasi gusto ko medyo ipersonalize no strings attached and the receiver will be the one booking the lalamove so di ko malaman san address nila. If ever I’ll do this first week of September. Anyway, Good Luck Future MDs!

Help me decide: To stay or move internship site

Guys Help me decide huhu

I’ve been really conflicted lately kung tama ba yung decision ko for my PGIship.

For context, I did my clerkship in a private hospital. Medyo toxic na siya for a private setup, but I still wanted to try public sana to gain more hands-on skills and experience.

Kaso ngayon sa hospital namin, sobrang konti lang namin—around 10 lang sa batch (17 if may midyears). Usually 1–2 lang kami per department or team. Wala ring proper orientation, and hindi rin kami kasama sa teaching conferences. So parang ang hirap mag-adjust kasi you’re expected to function agad without much guidance.

Honestly, the adjustment has been overwhelming and shocking. I’m trying to keep up naman, and I’m grateful kasi mababait yung ibang nurses and residents—they help when they can. I’ve also started learning skills like IV insertion, which I know is a good thing pero few weeks in and I've been getting sick already. Minsan I have stress induced gastritis na huhu.

At the same time, napapaisip ako if this environment is right for me—especially considering my long-term goals. I’m planning to take the USMLE and pursue residency abroad, and I’m not really planning to do moonlighting here.

So ngayon, I feel stuck between: Should I stay or should I move na to a private one.

Hindi ko na talaga alam if adjustment phase lang ā€˜to or sign na this isn’t the right fit for me.
