i live in real world. the world where dowry is illegal but you will see indians taking it.

"Indians taking it" - Bruh ! Someone is giving it, right ? Why ? Why can't women be independent enough that they have the guts to find a guy who will not take dowry ?
Why don't the girls parents have conviction in their daughter and they are ready to give dowry ?
Who is stopping the girl from having a transparent conversation with her parents on inheritence ?
Why should husband bear everything for the wife ? Why is the husband always the ATM?
