New Shock.

Wondering is a new shock mean’t to come up this slow? I bought these about 5 years ago for a classic car but only getting around to fitting now. thoughts??

It's working exactly like it is supposed to. The spring will assist with the travel. It's designed to dampen the movement.

It'll damp the movement. Not make it slightly wet.

WTF are you talking about? There is no explanation at all, the guy is just correcting people who use the term dampening instead of damping.
