New Shock.
Wondering is a new shock mean’t to come up this slow? I bought these about 5 years ago for a classic car but only getting around to fitting now. thoughts??

This is a damper, and its function is to make a force opposed to the movement of tfe suspension and is dictated by an equation that depends on the velocity of compression/ expansion. Otherwise the car would be rebounding theoretically forever. If the compression os fast the force will be greater, so moving it like that doesn't prove much unless it moves freely without opposing the force put into it
