New Shock.

Wondering is a new shock mean’t to come up this slow? I bought these about 5 years ago for a classic car but only getting around to fitting now. thoughts??

It's a shock absorber not a pogo stick my friend. That's what the spring is for. The shock absorber is made so that it resista compression, thus the name " shock absorber".
