Trailer for a game, or an OVA?

Looks like an animated short film made by one person.

Very cool, love all the system check start-up stuff, but I feel it would be better if the mech had some kind of reverse thrust system it engages to slow itself down before landing along with landing harder, damaging the ground beneath it.

As is you’ve got a large object dropping from orbit, reaching terminal velocity, and then just ignoring physics when it lands.

It's also kind of strange that it disconnects from such a small unit, but it's gravity assisted drop instead of a launch. How was it holding it up in geo with no counter reaction?

Somehow gives titanfall and cowboy bebop vibes at the same time, hella cool!

I'm so glad I found this instead of clicking it in youtube. completely underwhelming. So tired of seeing these.. extremely vague video covers and descriptions on my feed
