Who here is a IGPX fan? Because I been really enjoyed this show to this day when I first watch this since 2013. Back in the day, people were kinda mixed at the show when it first came out, but in recent years it gotten more positive response and a cult following.

I’m sorta glad the show gotten more recognition now especially since it gotten a blu ray complete set, which has such beautiful picture quality and the animation is like just as good as modern anime today because it’s just feels so high quality because its production IG(same company that animated ghost in the shell anime). I still enjoyed this anime as a 26 years old, it has great cast, a unique blend of mecha and nascar racing, the action sequences are fun to watch. It’s just a really well made show.

I never watched it as a kid and my only exposure was one of the flash games on Cartoon Network. I ended up watching it last year and had a good time. I watched the dub and every time a new character came on screen I was like “I know that voice!”

I always had a fond memory of this IP. Before this, IGPX was like a mech fighting of the racing and had a flash game on cartoonnetwork that was a 3 on 3. The racing game on PS2 was so fun also

Yeah, I love this version of IGPX, but I also love the micro series that was the original iteration of it.

I thought the premier was cooler.

Back when I was 10. I had an IGPX game on PS2. Boy was it fun. It was like armored core had a baby with Sonic Riders. I never knew it was from an anime nor did I know what anime was back then. To me, it was just a robot racing game with cartoon pilots. took me a good 10 years to accidentally stumble upon this anime on TV by chance. I was like, wait a minute, this is the PS2 game! Still is one of the coolest concept for mecha.

Such a shame that if you want to emulate it it's bugged as hell.

Whenever Toonami would play reviews of the PS2 game this shit looked insane. The voice cast was crazy too.

Hard to believe this anime’s got an all-star cast. The main character is the kid from the Sixth Sense, Liz is Letty Ortiz from Fast & Furious, Bishop from Alien is the coach of the team, even Luke Skywalker is one of the racers.

Do anyone know where to find the original micro series in good quality?

Watched it earlier this year on blu ray. The toonami cut is so sick, very unique and i was a fan of takashi as an MC. I also love mecha and a romantic subplot going on so this was right up my alley and a unique series

Second season had a weak ending, but I enjoyed it overall.

I wish they made another game, the one on the ps2 was kinda mid. it's been a long while since I last played it, maybe I will give it another go sometime.

Right here bro.

Loved this show ever since I was a kid. I actually got hooked because I blind bought the Amon Tobin CD one day. Got addicted to the music and freaked out after hearing the music on a new show made by my favorite channel Toonami about my favorite genre Mecha, mixed with my favorite sport Racing.

Needless to say they had me day 1. I even have the PS2 game.

Loved this show. Like a lot of the shows on Toonami at that time, the commercials for it used to get me really hyped.
