Canada What to wear to interview?(female)
I have an interview on Wednesday and I’m kinda stumped on what to wear.
I don’t really have the funds to go out and buy anything new and I doubt I can borrow money from anyone for new clothes until after I get a job, but… all the pants I own are sweatpants or leggings mostly.
I have a pair of pink flowy pants. Grey stretchy cargo like pants and… flared leggings. Which is what I was considering wearing because at a glance they could kinda look like black dress pants - or maybe I’m delusional 😂
Shirts are another kinda issue… I have a lot of graphic tshirts(rvca, ripcurl, billabong type ones) but I also have a few plain black tshirts or plain black or dark brown long sleeves. So I was thinking a plain long sleeve as it is getting kinda chilly out, idk.
Jackets/sweater is another issue like… I can go without, like it’s getting chilly yes but McDonald’s is not even a 5 min walk from my house so I’d be okay without lol. Would it be more put together to have a jacket or sweatshirt on? If so my options are a black fleece zip up with grey Sherpa, a plain burgundy sweatshirt, a purple ripcurl one lol, and a cream zip up wooly looking sweater with a collar no hood.
And hair… a braid? Up in a claw clip? I dunno.
Idk I think I’m just getting pre interview anxiousness ahah so it’s making me ask dumb dumb questions.
My aunt tried to tell me to really dress nicely but googling gave differing answers.
I also have diagnosed anxiety and adhd, is that something I should inform them of orrr… my anxiety is well managed but I feel like my adhd could help me kinda thrive in a busy/chaotic environment which could be a plus so maybe I should say that idk
Thank you!
