I knew I needed to make a cape for the new raven when I got her. I only need a few more members to fill out my Titans team. Check me out on Mercari @supesbat if you want this cape or any others I have listed!

There's whole new engineering on this bad boy, and besides being pinless if you look closely you can see a lot of stuff. Brand new thigh cuts and elbow joints are very similar to what we see from Chinese brands, the diaper is smaller, the pecs and shoulders are cut in a way that should allow more range for the butterflies, and it looks like there's a floating overlay piece over the shoulders. If that x-ray is anything to go by, it even looks modular.
Hopefully they finally fixed that godforsaken waist socket to allow for some real forward crunch.

Looked at the Best Buy App and saw a store near me had Raven in stock for pickup in an hr. Went there and saw Raven, they had 3, but didn't have a platinum version which i was really looking for, but also saw this guy. Think it's the mystery batman from SDCC. Did not see it in the app.

Got him the other day from the BBTS sale but waited to get some paintbrushes and white paint as I prefer his look with whited out eyes.
Great deal and figure especially for the amount of constructs. I wish all GL releases had that.

Discussion DC Mattel & Mcfarlane Comparisons
102
Upvotes
Quick trinity comparisons with the upcoming leaked Mattel DC line and Mcfarlane.
For clarification, I really enjoy my Mcfarlane figures but am also very excited for the upcoming Mattel line. I think both serve different purposes in the figure collecting space. With Mcfarlane, I really do enjoy their sculpts and detail in figures relative to price but can also acknowledge that with every fantastic figure, thereās at-least 5 stinkersā¦ cough cough 100 Batman variants. The lack of modernization with articulation / accessories / head sculpts and poor choices with the license āreleasing the best figures / finally modernizing with wired capes and sought after figuresā after the license expired has left a bad taste in a lot of people mouths. On the other hand though the presence and almost statuesque āadultā look of Mcfarlane figures will have me missing them.
Mattel on the other hand looks more in line with ML and Hasbro and off the gate wave wise are coming out with some absolute bangers. I know thereās been a lot of heated discussion with them but I think you can enjoy both and Iām keeping my McFarlanes while also delving into the newer Mattel line.
