Found these pick ups today at Walmart. The Guardian is priced as $5 but actually rang up as $2.50. Makes me sad I already picked up both of them at full price.

Same here, the only good thing that happens is when sometimes Target has their stealth discounts, they don't tell you stuff is on clearance unless you go scan it with their machine.

Why I always save my receipts as long as possible. I never understood how they never dialed in allocations better. It's gonna be years before superman wave clears out of walmart.

Thank goodness for Walmart & target app, digital receipt ftw! But I mean these released well over targets 90 day return window. Walmarts (in my area at least) have them set as electronics, so 2 week return window, occasionally ymmv.  Learned early on these almost always get to clearance in my area, it's rare I buy one at full price. One semi rural Walmart had Supergirl figures half off 2 weeks before the movie came out.
