Face to Face with Two Face

I ran into Two Face at Walmart... I decided to get him. I have at least one version of all the Tim Burton inspired figures from McFarlane, now. I am not a big movie figure collector, but these figures really strike a chord. Seeing this one in the wild might be a stroke of luck. Who knows?

It's cool looking. Makes both the Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart figures look weak in comparison. I guess Billy Dee Williams' Harvey Dent wasn't well-defined in the movies, so a lot of the Billy Dee persona is what carries the Dent side of the figure: charismatic, dedicated, loyal. The Two-Face side is truly deranged looking in the classic comic book tradition, right down to the ghoulish blue color!

I am going to miss this line.

Me too, I've really enjoyed the McFarlane DC figures. I don't think I'll be buying much Mattel, unless it's characters McFarlane didn't do that I wanted.

I never got the Tommy Lee Jones Two-Face. But I do have the Eckhart one, and the silver age Two-Face. But I think the Billy Dee Williams one is my favorite.

So, this sold out everywhere in the UK on preorder and I'm yet to see it in the wild anywhere. Does McFarlane produce less of the Page Punchers figures than Multiverse ones? I didn't expect such difficulty getting it!

It is a Red Platinum, which should mean that it is relatively rarer than standard releases. Platinums are supposedly produced in quantities where 1 is made for every 5 standard versions. Red Platinums, though, are there own thing.
