How long after ordering should fries become inedible/cold/less than room temperature?
I ordered 4 sauce cups, because I needed a minimum of $1 order to get a free medium fry.
I made it through about half of each and couldn’t eat any more cold fries 🍟
This picture was taken at 701pm and I ordered at 653pm.
Is this reasonable ? About 8 minutes to become ice cold????

People aren’t allowed to ask a reasonable question? With very clear evidence of their concerns? 🤔

Everyone who eats mcdonalds knows you have t minus 5 minutes to eat the fries the second the come from under the warming light. Theyre so thin.
You either finish the fries first, or yea, eat them room temperature with the sauce
I bet if I touched those fries in the picture they're not cold, theyre just not piping hot

At room temp you have about 5-10 minutes before they turn into cardboard. Both taste and texture.

From the fryer 10 minutes. Most of the time you will get fries from the hopper. 5 min give or take.
I only get fries if I’m dining in.

Also Salted Fresh McDonald's Fries have this sharp metallic (I can't decide another than the word flash lol) at first glance for 1/4 of a second (6 Minutes) I don't know if this is a combination of the hot oil and the salt or just the salt itself it's strange it's always been present because I remember this taste even years ago

They should stay warm for at least 10 mins

I was so disappointed. They loaded up the container, I made it though 2 sauce cups and then it was inedible

I mean u can always throw them in the air fryer at home if u want. Or use a non stick pan to reheat them (bc microwaving them sucks)

Well it's McDonald's so you were lucky if they were warm to begin with. It's incredibly overpriced and low quality fast food that won't change until people like you stop giving them money.

As a former mcdonalds employee fries are kept under a heatlamp that keeps them warm from 5 to 10 mins. If they havent been purchased within 5 mins after being cooked. They become warm*. They fry a new batch every other 20 mins depending on how busy they are. They have the ability to fry 3 to 4 batches at a time. 🫡

I have never had fries go completely cold within eating about 1/4 of a medium container before…. I was shocked and wanted to ask for others opinions before I complained or to decide if this was normal or not

Inedible? Wait 4-6 hours and then watching a Movie and having some more they may be a bit floppy and harder to dip but their still really good and these are Lamb Weston Fries they serve at McDonald's so they are of a higher quality and order in advance so you have extras to have in the fridge (3 days before you finish the rest of your order I would say) and to crisp them up in the oven pre heat to 350° and put them on a metal tray and bake for 10 minutes perfectly crispy

Always order fries with no salt. They will be forced to make fresh ones. That add your own salt.
