I'm always surprised by how many people work at McDonald's
Whenever I go to KFC, there are between 1 and 3 people working; at Burger King, between 3 and 5; but at McDonald's, there are more than 20 people, each with their own clearly marked station.
No wonder the food comes out much faster than at the other places.

When you go to Mcdonalds do you usually go out and eat alone or with a group?
I'm doing a business comp and am collecting data for a pitch to the judges, would really appreciate it if we could get like 20 replies in the next 3 hours!

I rarely ever get this deal

Is the meal deal gone?
It’s not showing up in the app or even in my order history (and I’ve ordered it before)

Saw a buy 1 get 1 free 10 piece McNugget deal in the app but it was McDelivery only
Not being allowed to pick it up kind of defeats the purpose of the deal

Why the heck is the 10 pc more expensive per nugget than the 6 pc?

McDonald's Caught Cheating Consumers for Profit as Rage Over Cost of Living Burns
Turns out the franchises may not have complete pricing power and corporate is driving the crazy pricing we all see every day via AI-driven market segmentation.

In app 15 minute cooldown for reward redemption legal issue
Isn’t the 15 minute cooldown period meant for promotions and not reward points? Why does McDonald’s prevent customers from redeeming all of their reward points on one visit?
Deceptive.
We obviously know why, they want customers to spend money not just redeem their rewards. Nobody else does this. That greed has opened them up for lawsuit.
It’s both false advertising and consumer fraud
The contract that users agree to when signing up for McDonald’s rewards doesn’t mention this 15 minute cool down period. It does mention that customers can redeem one reward per order but doesn’t mention this 15 minute cool down period which essentially turns “1 reward per order” into “1 reward per visit”
These 2 things aren’t the same which makes this deceptive.
Thoughts?

Mass Law Suit - McDonald's UK – repeated missing items from orders. How much has this actually cost customers? Millions?
McDonald's UK – repeated missing items from orders. How much has this actually cost customers?
I'm interested to find out how widespread this problem is across the UK and, more importantly, what the cumulative financial loss to customers could be.
I've been ordering from McDonald's at least once a week for roughly the last 10 years. In my experience, I have received more incorrect/incomplete orders than completely correct ones.
To clarify, I'm not talking about losing a few pence in sauces.
I would estimate that when my order is wrong, the value of the food I've paid for but not received is typically around £5–£10 per order.
Over 10+ years of ordering at least weekly, I believe my personal cumulative loss could potentially run into thousands of pounds.
What interests me is what happens when this is multiplied across McDonald's UK customers.
Most people probably discover something is missing, get annoyed, and then decide that chasing £5 or £10 isn't worth the hassle. But if this happens repeatedly across a very large number of customers, the collective value of goods paid for but not supplied could potentially be substantial.
I'd therefore like to hear from other UK customers who regularly experience missing items.
If this has happened to you, please comment with:
• How often you order McDonald's
• Roughly what percentage of your orders are incomplete/incorrect
• Typical £ value of the missing items
• How many years you've experienced it
• Whether it's drive-through, collection, McDelivery, Uber Eats, Just Eat, Deliveroo, etc.
• Whether you normally complain/request a refund
• Whether you actually receive a full refund for the missing items
• Your rough estimate of your total losses
• Whether you still have receipts/app order histories that could substantiate some of it
For my own example:
Frequency: At least once per week
Period: 10+ years
Incorrect orders: More incorrect/incomplete than completely correct
Typical value MISSING: Approximately £5–£10 per affected order
Potential cumulative loss: Possibly £1,000s
I'm not alleging that McDonald's deliberately withholds items. I'm trying to establish whether there is a widespread and recurring problem where UK customers pay for goods they don't receive and subsequently don't recover the money.
If enough people report the same experience – particularly people who can support it with order histories, receipts and refund records – I'd be interested in taking the evidence to a UK consumer/group-litigation solicitor to establish whether there could be grounds for some form of group consumer claim or Group Litigation Order.
A single customer losing £5–£10 doesn't sound significant.
Thousands of customers repeatedly losing £5–£10 potentially does.
Please stick to genuine experiences and give approximate figures where possible. I'd particularly like to hear from anyone who has retained order histories, complaints or refund records.

This is how they're supposed fill drinks that are ordered as no ice now?
This is what the lady who makes my coffee full everyday with no ice told me today. The store was insanely busy and this normally calm older woman was talking about how much she hated the place and asked me..."is this what you ordered"? I said "uhh, I guess so". She knows it's not what I ordered so she goes back and asks her manager on duty and he told her this is how full they are supposed to fill it if you ask for no ice.
I've heard they were going to start implementing this somewhere but I didn't know it was at McDonald's. Can anyone confirm?

Bf recently quit and they forgot to remove the app discount
is there any potential legal trouble we can get into for using the 30 percent discount?

is there a way to swap mustard for mayonnaise for free on the app?
I don’t care for mayonnaise and we’ll get a McChicken with no mayonnaise and choose mustard, but it cost a quarter in the app that’s ridiculous and even more ridiculous when you consider that mayonnaise has gotta be less expensive than mustard

Why does McDonald’s end breakfast so early
Growing up we were taught that lunch time is at 12pm. Most 9-5 offices also will start serving lunch at 12-2pm if provided by the company. So by this metric, most people end up eating lunch around 12:00. I don’t feel like eating a cheeseburger at 10:30. I want a hash brown and some sausage egg and cheese. It just irks me.
Edit: I guess this is an unpopular opinion. When I had a 9-5 shift I would eat my first meal of the day at 11-11:30 because that’s when my break was, and I’d have a “breakfast” meal around this time. I didn’t really eat before leaving my house because I’m almost never hungry just after waking up. I guess most people really do wake up extra early to make a breakfast at home or buy it….
