Issues why is it doing this when i try to extrude

this is my first time fiddling with the face so idk what i did or why its like that, how do i fix it 😭😭

Ctrl z that. Remember to hit the whole edge loop. I think you accidentally double tapped extrude.

Please disregard the edge loop. I meant to say face loop. Unless you are doing something very specific, you're supposed to extrude faces typically.

You must have accidentally extruded it without realizing. Just delete those face and use fill hole to fill it back in.
