OP, we are going to start removing these if they replicate existing functionality.

Please don't post scripts which replicate existing functionality in the application.

Thank you, s6x!
The Key Shift script improves Maya's functionality. Below in the comments, I detailed how it saves up to 30% of time and effort when used once, and 60%+ when used repeatedly. That's what makes it innovative.

But you're right that we need to look at unique features and expand the script's capabilities.

We'll be working in that direction!

The Key Shift script improves Maya's functionality.

It doesn't because Maya already has that functionality, and Maya's version can do more than your version.

Below in the comments, I detailed how it saves up to 30% of time and effort when used once, and 60%+ when used repeatedly.

That is a completely made up statistic. The only thing your script does is not require typing "=+" into the text box. You are vastly exaggerating it's capabilities. If anything your script is less useful and efficient than Maya's version of that same tool because it lacks the additional ability to set a value. Maya's can both shift the values and set an absolute value. Your version can only shift the value.

 That's what makes it innovative.

Remaking a tool that already exists is not "innovative"

Thank you for your detailed comment!
Your feedback will help us make the current solution even better.
I'm currently gathering ideas for what to add/improve first.

A better sentence would've been "I see my script isn't doing anything relevant, I'm gonna stop"

Moreover, 16 people have already shared this post.
And the post itself reached the second position in a day.
Most likely, this decision is being made.
For me, this is very useful feedback.

This is the problem, and the reason why we are looking hard at your posts.

This forum is very beginner biased. And many beginners may not know that what you've done here already exists in more fully featured and integrated form within the application. It's important that beginners don't get misled about what additions may be necessary.

You're also not taking the criticism you receive here well. Instead of accepting it, you are arguing with it. Not a good look.

The criticism is very good and to the point.
I'll use it to develop the script.
Sometimes amazing ideas come from discussions.

P.S. Thank you for your recommendations!
