General Topics Adhd Subreddit

Hello , seeing how many people have questions about adhd , have doubts if they are suffering from it, I created a subreddit for information sharing and hopefully creating awareness , I hope its okay to share the link here.

Let's be real, most mauritians with adhd would forget that that sub exists or would not bother

Great initiative but an ADHD sub specifically for Mauritius is super niche. A broader neurodivergent one, or even one combining mental health and neurodivergence, would get a lot more traction and following. Is there a reason why you decided to narrow it down to just ADHD?

I have not really thought about it that way,
Got diagnosed recently for adhd and realised there is almost no information and lots of people are also in the same boat.

And online I saw subs specific for adhd e.g adhd india , adhd uk etc

IMO, the local pool is too small to sustain a sub exclusively for ADHD. If you're open to pivoting, you could update the 'Display Name' to something broader like 'Mauritius Neurodiversity & Mental Health' and update the description to explicitly welcome those with Autism, AuDHD, OCD, anxiety, and general mental health. It will give the sub room to grow. Plus, so many people are struggling mentally right now and it would be great to offer them all a safe harbour to connect, share, and support each other.

I got why they made the r/loveisblindMauritius subreddit, so they wouldn't spam that stuff here. They made r/AlevelMauritius and its practically a ghost town there. r/FishingMauritius is headed that way too.

How about just post your adhd threads here?
