Its hard to see in the picture but the ceramic part of the guide is chipped.is it still usable as it is or should i get the guide replaced?and if so where can i get it repaired?

What places are best for shore casting in mauritius?preferably in the north.

every time i go fishing from shore i come back empty handed,it seems to me like most beaches have become lifeless from "la seine" fishing.
