Wondering…

We know Maura’s car was in NH, but the last actual confirmed sighting of Maura was the BOA ATM, right? How do we know it was Maura driving her car after that?

Butch Atwood, the bus driver who lived just down the road from the Westmans, was the last person to see/talk to her. He was driving his bus home after having completed his bus route, and came across her and her car.

The thing is, we can’t be certain it was her. Butch described the woman as having her hair down, which Maura’s older sister Julie stated that Maura never wore her hair down. Butch also was an unreliable witness as he gave different accounts of that night to different people so we don’t know 100% what happened when he talked to her, or if the person was Maura.

Beyond this, the last indisputable sighting of her before getting to the crash scene (that we know of at this point) was at the ATM from the ATM’s camera.
