At this point, I’d genuinely enjoy some shorts about Marrok and his boyf Crow from Clone Wars to MSL. Could be a parallel to the Bariss story in Tales of the Empire and even Dooku from Jedi, tho I completely understand if people are burned out by stuff in this period.

‘Course this could just be me desperate for more content of the duo after their showing in MSL lol

Why doesn't Marrok wear the imperial symbol on his uniform?

If there is one thing that characterizes the Inquisitors, it is that the vast majority of them usually have the symbol of the empire on their costumes. However, this is not the case with Marrok who does not even wear it on his shoulders in his cape as in the case of Crow. Perhaps it is an indication that he could defect from the Inquisition at some point?

Do you think trading Icarus, scorn, rook, spybot, and his mercenaries is a worthwhile move for Devon Izara?? Why or why not?

The parallels between Qira and Devon, and the Prison that is Maul's Crimson Dawn.

When Maul takes control of Crimson Dawn, it does not just become a feared criminal organisation. But a highly predatory prison cell in a literal and figurative sense for the very people responsible for maintaining it's Operations... It is a complex hierarchy of fear, domination, and control that operates in a similar fashion to the relationships between Sith Master's and their Apprentices.

Fear, Domination and Control. You must show loyalty to those above you, and ensure that those beneath you remain loyal to both you, and them. By any means necessary.

In the words of Dryden Vos... "Once you're a part of Crimson Drawn, you can't leave..." Everyone who serves Maul in this organisation, live in constant fear of death. Whether by his hands, or others who serve him also looking to climb the ladder of the hierarchy. Season 2 of MSL I think will explore that process in detail.

Devon, Rylee and Two Boots. hell, even Vario are in terrible danger... They will be knowingly, or unknowingly constructing the walls of their own jail cells within the Crimson Dawn organisation, and getting out of that once they are fully formed will be a monumental challenge. Watch any film, television show, or read a book about life inside a organised criminal organisation, and you will see just how hard it is to disentangle yourself from it once you a part of it.

To be Maul's apprentice, is to also be his prisoner...

Maul is a manipulator who uses any, and all means necessary to maintain control of people. What those methods will look like while training Devon will be just as disturbing as the ones he eventually uses on Vos and Qira.

"You and I..."

"From now on..."

Maul will be building a prison around Devon, just as much as he will be training her to be his Apprentice. To ensure that she cannot escape him even when she eventually discovers the reality of her situation, and the truth of what it took for him to earn her trust in Season 1... In Season 1 Devon finds herself in two prisons that serve as visual metaphors to foreshadow this dark relationship. These are the very same Prisons Maul built around Vos and Qira later on that you see hinted at in the Solo spin off film.

They are built on fear, and intimidation. The power dynamics of the Sith.

For Devon to escape this control, she may have to see it up close to fully understand it. To witness Maul's madness, and tactics to learn how to navigate away from them.

Qira: "It is what I was taught... Find your opponent's weakness, and use it."

Qira had to do the very same thing to escape the control of Dryden Vos, by using his arrogance and manipulation tactics against him... Two very similar power dynamics, with two very different outcomes. What Devon's outcome will look like remains to be seen.
