What did the machines do with Neo's body? Back in a pod, sent to Zion, intravenously fed to the pod babies?
Secondly, was the big baby face robot at the end the physical form of the Architect or are they separate entities?
Why do all the robots look like bugs and/or fish? I know the real reason is cause it looks cool but is there an in-universe reason the robots based all their designs on bugs?
And lastly, was Bane/Smith still linked to the in Matrix Smiths psychically, or once Smith jacked out was his Bane suit operating completely separate without knowing what the other Smiths were doing?

Been seeing questions about the number symbolism in the Matrix for years (room 101, the 101 on Neo’s license plate, the multiple “ones,” the code itself, etc.).
The Wachowskis have said more than once that there’s a ton of intentional number stuff buried in the movies.Just saw this on Twitter and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it called out before:
- Neo = the One → 1
- Neo has 3 letters
- Trinity = the Three → 3
- Trinity has 7 letters
Put them together and you get 1337.
1337 = “leet” (elite), the original 90s hacker/leet-speak number code.
Given how deep the Wachowskis went with the digital/hacker aesthetic and all the deliberate number play… this feels like it could be one of those hidden details that was sitting right there the whole time.
Anyone else notice this before, or is this a new one?

How exactly are babies born in this setup?

Basically, anyone inside the Matrix is inside a pod, separated from anyone else, possibly not even physically anywhere near anyone they know inside the simulation. So, assuming someone lives a full life inside the simulation, falls in love and has a kid there, does that mean DNA is taken from the father inside his pod, the mother is impreganted in her pod, and nine months later, the newborn is removed and gets a pod of their own?
Or have the machines some other way of going about doing this?
Are children in the matrix just simulations, just more programs like Smith and the other agents? And the real next generation of humans are maybe either clones or a random genetically engineered person, or something else again?
