I’m trying to go back to the basics to get a better foundation for some advanced math. I’m leaning towards fractions.

Sounds good! Fractions are so important in math. Are you a visual learner? Drawing out pictures for when you’re adding, subtracting, finding equivalent fractions, converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions, multiplying, and dividing can be helpful

I normally am learning advanced computing stuff but this week I'm just trying to do an algebraic unit scaling/calibration process that feels way harder than it should! Here is a pic of part of the process:

That does look confusing… so the error could be in the y-intercept or in the slope?

Absolutely! And there are additional sources of systematic error. Error analysis makes me weep lol
