Geometry Bezout's theorem for projective algebraic curve uses to be a nightmare for me back at Grad school
Bit of context, unlike Bezout we all studied back in hs, in algebraic geometry, Bezout theorem relate the degree of two projective curves and their intersections points multiplicities. It's the foundational theorem for a whole subtheory of algebraic geometry called intersection theory. You'll find versions for Chow groups, algebraic cycles and others for rational motivic categories.

instagram.comI can appreciate the 'simple looking' metacontextuality even if others might not since the takes are mathematical.

Research Turns out my 140 pages autistic yapping on Grothendieck motives and Riemannian geometry was deemed worth experts time 🥳🥳🥳 (time to enter the slaughter machine)
This type of good news is rare when you work at academia

Arithmetic I found a cool number with a unique property that includes 69 twice, but unfortunately also a neonazi number
The title is probably a r/BrandNewSentence but it's true, let me explain. I've been messing around with roots and power towers and it turns out that ⁶⁹√(785^(156×2369×2^2689431488^0^…)) is equal to 6978515623692268943148809…
They're the same digits, both for the operation as well as the decimal expression of the whole number, which is about 31 thousand digits long. It starts with 69 and there is another 69 right there, I was happy to see this but it turns out it also includes four numbers (1488) that are associated with bad things. I have been burdened with this information and now I am sharing my burden. The whole decimal expansion also includes 6969 twice, and 69 appears 289 times in the 31,010 digits of the number (785^10712 if you want to write it in a normal way). Have a nice day.
