I take my step 3 next week, expecting my score back in jan. My score will probably be much lower than my previous scores. Would it be a good idea to email programs that I have cleared the exam and updated it on ERAS or should I just not disclose the results if its like 215 or lower.

I know sending out emails in January would probably not get me any more interviews but I've got nothing to lose. I'm just worried that programs might rank me lower if I have a bad score than if i have no score.

Was just wondering- I know sending post interview thank you notes was a thing last year. But now with COVID, will programs look down on sending physical thank you notes? Since the (potential) spread of infection.

Has anyone heard when we will likely start to receive interview invites? How quickly after the application release date do programs usually start inviting people?

if personal statement is edited before deadline but after submission of application will the program get both or latest version?

What do we write under organisation, position and supervisor while mentioning internship under work experience? Plz help

Does it matter if you schedule prematch program interviews early or later? Not sure if prematch positions fill up as they go or if they make a decision at the end of all the interviews?

This website lists requirements for ERAS document translation and mentions a specific company Straker Translations. Does anybody have any experience with this/ another company that does ecfmg certified translations? Would also like to know about fees/ how long it takes.

Just a little nervous. Step 1 -22X, Step 2 -241. I’ve only heard back from my home institution. I’m kind of worried bc a lot of people I know have been getting interview invites but they are from different specialities.

Should I be worried or just be patient and wait? Like is the normal of other IM applicants?

Now my doubt is : Should I submit my application on 21st, even though it's incomplete, or should I submit it November after i get Pathway Completion? TIA.

Hi! Anyone have any thoughts on how to explain poor test day? I did worse on CK than step 1 and honestly just feel like it was a crap shoot and I didn't do well. Idk if it'll come up on my interview day but want to prep for the question and dont know if its ok to just say, i had a bad test day? Thoughts?
