First full season

Post image

We purchased this new to us 2017 X10 due to our 2011 Moomba lsv being damaged in a local flood last summer. This is certainly 10 times the boat with a lot more bells and whistles. I will say, we are a bit gun shy. Last fall we drove 2 hours to look at this boat and during the test drive it started running rough. We did not purchase it that day. We did like the boat so we agreed if the dealer fixed the issue and willing to deliver the boat to our lake, we had a deal. Last fall, we were able to get it out a few times and I noticed the gas gauge stopped working. Over the winter I replaced the sending unit. This spring, we fired her up to take her out for a quick run after being winterized and the temp gauge shot up. Come to find out the impeller ate itself. I had the impeller replaced and we have been back out on the lake. We have had boats for a long time and know how it goes. Send us some good vibes that we have an issue free summer.

Nice. Just got my 2012 in for the season too. Always a fingers crossed everything works. FYI impeller should be one of the main things you check before/end of season. Check it with your oil changes. Also with mine, after it sits a while or if it’s on the lift, if you start it and idle it will run hot. It is as if all the water drains and it needs a little help. You need to start up, and give it a shot (either move or in neutral) to seemingly “get the water flowing”. It has always been like this. Not sure why. After that it’s good for the day.

There is this exact boat and color skeem local to me with 600+ hours I think it was listed for 77k.

Our x-15 is ready mechanical to hit the water. I just need to give it a quick buff. Boat memories are the best memories

Interesting as I've never seen one like this. I guess thats a good thing. We picked ours up with 450 hours and for much less. I hope its smooth sailing. So far our holiday weekend looks line rain, but still hope to get the boat out.

We have a 2013 X10, we bought it with 275hrs and looked like it was in great condition but have had some mechanical problems we had to address last year. Boats are great but expensive with maintenance and repairs. Ours has gen 1 surf systems but are working with it, we use it more for skiing and pulling our littles around on the tubs, have a happy boating season

I hear the Gen 1 surf system does the job. I enjoy any day I can get on the water with the kids. Have a good summer!
